LIVOS CANADA, operating as LIVOS North America, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect on this website, why we collect it and how you can control it. It complies with Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada's federal privacy law.

2. Information we collect

Contact details: name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
Order details: products purchased, amounts, order history.
Payment: payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
Your account: login information, if you create an account.
Your messages: what you send us by email, through our contact form or our claim form, including photos.
Browsing data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, collected through cookies (see section 5).

3. Why we use it

To process, ship and track your orders.
To answer your questions, claims and returns.
To send you our newsletter, only if you subscribed.
To improve our website and understand how it is used.
To show you relevant ads, only if you accept marketing cookies.
To meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.

We only collect what we need for these purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Your consent

By placing an order or contacting us, you consent to the use of your information for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from our newsletter with the link at the bottom of every email, or by contacting us.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. When you first visit our website, a banner asks for your choice. Only the cookies needed for the site to work are active before you choose.

Essential cookies: keep your cart, your login and the checkout working. They cannot be turned off.
Analytics cookies: help us understand how the site is used, with tools such as Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics. Used only if you accept them.
Marketing cookies: allow our partners, such as Google, to show you relevant ads. Used only if you accept them.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of our website, or by deleting cookies in your browser settings.

6. Who we share it with

We share your information only when needed, with:

Shopify, which hosts our online store;
payment processors, to process your payment;
carriers, to deliver your order;
our email and analytics service providers;
LIVOS USA, our sister company, when needed to serve a customer in the United States;
government authorities, when the law requires it.

These partners may only use your information to provide their services to us.

7. Information stored outside Québec

Some of our service providers, including Shopify, may store your information outside Québec, in other Canadian provinces or in the United States. Before sharing information outside Québec, we make sure it will be protected in a way that respects Québec law.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, and as long as the law requires, for example 6 years for tax and accounting records. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limited access. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

access the personal information we hold about you;
correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
stop using it or delete it, when the law allows;
receive it in a structured, commonly used format.

Send your request to the person in charge named in section 1. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

11. Children

Our website is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page, with its date.
